Home Solutions for Dry Skin

There is various home dry skin remedies that you can make to help sooth and cure dry chapped skin.

For example, taking a milk bath once a week aids to sooth and nourishes the skin. Prepare your bath water and add a couple of tablespoons of powdered milk, a couple of drops of almond oil and a few drops of your favorite perfume or bath oils. Then just lay back, relax and let the milk pamper your skin and nourish it.

Another good tip is to exfoliate your skin, once a week, with a facial mask, this helps to eliminate dull, dry surface skin. Use a natural face mask and not one that contains bleaching and harsh chemicals such as benzoyl peroxide or alcohol.

Not everyone understands that maintaining a healthy diet can effect your skin type and moisturize your skin. If you consider the fact that your body is composed of 80% water, having less water in your body produces a significant level of dryness.
