Burn Belly Fat Fast

by Sean Cavanaugh

If your like me you are sick and tired of all the misinformation about reducing your belly fat. Like millions of people you are probably trying desperately to lose weight. Yet with all of the myths out their about how to lose your belly fat where are you to start?

Do you believe the magazine articles, radio and television commercials, your friends, trainers and gym rats? How are you to ever make any real changes when you are not even sure what is fact or fiction? Do you do sit-ups, crunches, cardio, take diet pills, supplements, or use ab gadgets such as the ab belt or ab roller?

Forget about celebrity diets and gym rat fads. You need to finally learn what is true and what is false. Lose your belly fat for good. It's time to learn the truth.

Contrary to popular belief ab exercises are not the best way to lose your belly fat. Every time I step into a gym I see people spending tons of time concentrating on ab exercises. Although they may help you strengthen the ab muscles, they will never burn the fat off your belly.

Science has proven that the key to burning fat is your metabolic rate. Whether you are looking to lose belly fat or any other fat on your body increasing your metabolic rate is the key to success. You have to get away from the exercises you typically think about when working on your ab muscles.

The most effective way to lose your belly fat is to do full body exercises. Working the legs, chest, and back are multi-joint exercises that can increase your metabolic rate for up to 48 hours. Once the fat burning hormones are released that fat around your belly doesn't stand a chance.

The key to an effective workout is to block out all distractions. The intensity of your workout is key to increasing your metabolic rate. That means when you get to the gym you should already know which leg, back, and chest exercises you intend to do. You need to know how many sets, how many reps, and how much weight. With proper planning you can achieve a powerfully effective workout in around 45 minutes and you will be on your way to losing that belly fat once and for all.

Once you get the right workouts down don't forget to eat right. Feeding your body with the proper nutrients will have two results. You will not be adding anymore excess fat to your belly. And you will be giving your body the energy it needs to complete the exercises necessary to lose the belly fat you have.
